I am a documentary producer, writer, professor, manager of a 501(c)3 non-profit production company, and a world citizen.

Along with the team of Jelani Cobb, correspondent, and Tom Jennings, producer, I was honored to win a 2021 Peabody for best documentary. In 2017, I was nominated for an Emmy for my independent film, "Wilhemina's War." Wilhemina Dixon has five relatives living with HIV/AIDS. I shot the film over five years in rural South Carolina.
